T5: Analysing strengths & weaknesses in small & medium size companies – Most new consultancy assignments require an initial analysis of the client’s strengths and weaknesses. This training module is about Navisys Aligner Audits, which are proven tools for engaging your client’s customers, employees and suppliers in a dialogue that surfaces their Priorities for Change for improving current activities and providing entirely new products and services. Aligning business activity with the needs of these three groups improves productivity, improves customer retention, wins new customers and improves the overall supply chain. T7: Managing change in small & medium companies – This training module is focused on using the Navisys Change Action Toolkit to engage your client and its people in making change happen. The training module explores this proven step by step process, from identifying change needs and designing detailed change plans right through to managing and evaluating implementation.  It is recommended that the Aligner Audits described in training module T5 above is used to identify change needs, although the change Action toolkit can be use with any needs analysis process.

T9: Uncovering strengths & weaknesses in specific areas – This training module explores the use of the Navisys Quick Performance Audits, which compare a client’s current state with the ideal state or state of excellence. The current range of 11 available audits include, Achievement Culture, Change Adaption, Contribution & Added Value, Creativity & Innovation, Customer Centricity, Effective Communication, Effective Business Processes, Employee Engagement, High Performing Teams, Operational Excellence and Excellent Leadership. Quick Performance audits can be used as a part of a general consultancy intervention, as a management development tool or as an initial sales tool, where it is used to focus client interest on the opportunities for performance improvement.

T12: Discovering and prioritising unique business needs – This training module will show you how to use the Navisys Deep Listening process, including Discovery and Pathfinder Prioritisation, to uncover and prioritise the unique needs, problems, opinions and ideas of any size of organisation or part organisation. The Audits described in T5 and T9 above, use carefully researched pre-determined question sets that reveal organisational the strengths and weaknesses. The needs of a consultancy project will sometimes require that in order to fully understand the drivers of change, a unique question set is devised and used. Deep Listening creates this unique question set by enabling the consultant to talk with a client’s customers, employees and other stakeholders and, as with the T5 and T9 audits, then utilises the Navisys Pathfinder Box for the prioritisation and segmentation of the data.

T13: Facilitating creative workshops – This training module explores the Navisys Harvest process as a stand alone workshop process that can be used in any size and type of organisation to gather and focus ideas in order to help achieve an organisation’s goals. T17: Finding clients in large organisations – The dynamics and the “rules” of selling to large organisations are very different to those that are successful when selling to smaller organisations. This training module reviews the early steps of a proven process for selling to large organisations. Specifically it explores how to market your services and how to find and engage new clients in a dialogue that has a high probability of producing a successful sale.

This training module explores proven strategies and processes for turning client interest into agreed consultancy projects. T19: Deep Listening for needs, problems and ideas when consulting with large organisations - This training module explores the structure and use of Navisys Deep Listening process to uncover “the world of reality” with a client’s ultimate customers, its intermediaries, its people and/or other key stake-holders. The training module will teach you how to organise, manage and use Deep Listening and how to engage your client’s directors, managers and people in the process and in owning and understanding the outputs.

T20:Deciding what should change when consulting with large organisations – The Navisys Pathfinder Box is part of Deep Listening and is a unique, proven, approach to enabling a client’s customers and people to prioritise their needs, problems and opinions so that change is focused on what will bring the most benefit to your client’s organisation. This training module will show you how to configure and use the Pathfinder Box as a device to engage all stakeholders and people at all levels device, as a survey tool and as a communications tool. It will also demonstrate the use of the Pathfinder Box as a very powerful sales tool.

T21:Creative Alignment of ideas to desired states when consulting with large organisations – All the tools you will need to facilitate a Creative Harvest Workshop is included in this training module. This training module explores the next step in the consulting process; that of utilising creative processes to identify and agree the action that will be taken as a result of the Priorities for Change that come from Deep Listening (See T19 and T20 above). Creative Alignment can engage just a few or many employees to Harvest the creativity, experience and wisdom from within your client’s organisation. The Creative Alignment process generates many ideas and then refines them up to those that will produce the best results and have the best chance of successful implementation.

T22: Future Building to realise Desired States when consulting with large organisations – This training module explores the next step in the consultancy process; that of turning change plans in to successful implementation of change. This training module includes the use of our unique and proven project planning and management processes that can engage your client’s people so that they own and support change. It explores how to use Change Leaders Networks to build forward momentum and commitment. It also identifies how to use the Pathfinder Box as a tool for measuring the rate of progress and the success of a change initiative.

T23:Engaging line managers in local change when consulting with large organisations - – This training module explores the use of the Change Action Toolkit, that was described in training module T7 above, for engaging local line managers in local change or in an overall change process. The outputs of the Deep listening process (see T19 and T20 above) surface the organisations Priorities for Change. This will leave issue and ideas that apply to only part of the organisation outside the scope of the main consultancy project going forward. The Change Action Tool Kit allows managers to pick up these local opportunities for change and work with their people to improve local performance and productivity.

T1: Consultancy coaching & mentoring telephone sessions – These one to one telephone coaching and mentoring sessions will enable you to talk with an experienced practicing consultant who is also an experienced coach/mentor. You can, for example, use these sessions for deciding the configuration of your business, to explore your strengths, weaknesses and preferences, to identify how to overcome obstacles and how to move forward, to talk through the next steps of a project or for any other area that will help you to be a more successful and fulfilled management consultant.
